Matt Santoro

A new notice had gone up onto all of the house boards thanks to all of the Santoro children (and much more thanks to Bella's threats). If anyone were to look on their House Noticeboards, a lovely vibrant Pink parchment with large blue letters in perfectly neat handwriting could be found. The Notice read:

Fellow Sonorians!

My name is Bella Santoro, a fourth year here at Sonora and I'm looking for recruiting a band. I play the guitar as well as sing vocals. Anyone who can sing or play an instrument is welcomed to sign-up and auditions will be held this coming Saturday in Cascade Hall after Lunch. Hope to see you all there!

Saul

Saul checked the notice board regularly, in part because he was watching for the Quidditch notice, and in part because that's where the current password was announced. Today, though, it was the very pink paper that caught his attention first.

His hand itched as he read through the blue writing, knowing that Neil over at Salem would have jumped at this. Saul, however, had the unique ability to make any instrument sound like a dying cat. It was bad enough that he wasn't even allowed to touch any sort of sound-producing device unless it was safely enclosed in a case and even then he was only to hold it by the handle. Failure to follow this simple rule was punishable by bleeding earache.

Consequently, there was no possible way he was going to attempt to audition his way into the Sonora band. He did, however, have a great deal of experience in a related area, so he wrote down something a little different on the sheet than whatever the this Bella person was expecting.

Stephen Baxter

Stephen had never actually played an instrument, unless a short-lived (a week with one lesson) with the trumpet counted, but that had been years ago. His singing had never been the type to win awards either, even now when it was almost stable after breaking (he hadn't even been able to hold a wrong note for most of the whole voice-breaking time). That didn't mean he didn't have his delusions though. And charisma and confidence, two very important attributes.

Stephen Baxter, Lead Singer / Rockstar

He grinned as he finished writing. This would be awesome.\n\n
