Fair Notice by Manfred Bulla, Headmaster

The morning before midterm officially began, on the noticeboard of each and every house, there appeared a formal notice with a neat collection of forms attached to the bottom. The form itself said in large letters 'School Fair'.

Under the title there was more information.

Do you want to have a stall at the school fair? There are 12 stall openings for student efforts - at least three students must be associated with the stall, and no student can be associated with the running of more than one stall. Application forms are attached to the bottom of this notice, and must be filled in and returned to your Head of House by no later than the first week back after midterm.

Successful applicants will be notified within the following week, so as preparations that may be needed before the Fair itself (which, for new students and those who need reminding, is at the end of the school year) will have plenty of time to be completed. Staff decisions about which stalls will go ahead and be run are final and any unauthorised stalls will result in severe punishment.

The Fair is also a chance to win points for the house points competition. The stall voted most popular on the day by attendance will win twenty house points. Attendance will be measured by token earnings on the day. PLEASE NOTE: Any stall that is not in some way offering items or services in exchange for the Fair tokens will NOT be eligible for this prize.

Underneath the notice, the application forms were waiting for interested Students to claim them.

Another Fair notice from Elly by Josiah

Josiah had met with Elly over lunch to talk. They hadn’t talked in ages and Josiah had missed his redheaded companion. Aside from all the miscellaneous chit-chat, the topic of the fair had come up. Elly told him about the British stand she planned to put up. He had agreed that that sounded awesome.

She then proceeded to ask him to pin it up in the Teppenpaw commons. Being the magnificent gentleman he was, he agreed immediately. He walked up to the notice board in the common room. He grinned from ear to ear seeing his name on the quidditch roster. He still had to get used to his spot on the team. Oh he was so defying his parents. This was so great.

Using the sticking charm Elly had taught him, he posted her flier.

CALLING ALL BRITS

I'm planning a heritage stall for the fair, with traditional food, music, dress and games from the British Isles! So if you're from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or Eire, join in and help out!

A meeting will be held the first day back after midterm for anyone interested in running the stall with me. First years are especially welcome. See me, Elly Eriksson, for more details.

Satisfied, he walked away, whistling as he went. Perhaps he would go to the pitch and practice. Nah, he had to hit the books. Charms club needed to be planned!

OOC:Sorry that it doesn't look as cool as it does in the Pecari common rooms. Elly's author is way better at HTML than I
