Bored out of my mind by Dalila Bastet

Dalila had spent most of this beautiful Friday evening wandering the halls of Sonora without much purpose except to pass the time. Her wanderings ceased when she noticed someone she didn't know walk out of a large wooden door carrying a book. Could this be the famous Sonora library?

She grasped the handle and pulled the heavy wood door open, takinga peek inside. Sure enough, it was the library. Dalila stepped inside and breated in the aroma of dust and old leather. She had always loved that smell. She wandered the corridors of books as she wandered the corridors of Sonora: with no purpose. She weaved in and out of the aisles for twenty minutes before something caught her eye.

This particular book wasn't old like most of the others, but it's shiny burgundy leather cover made it seem as though it were older. She slid it off the shelf and read the title.

Charming Charms: Beautify Your House and Yourself

Dalila grimaced at the implications of the title, but proceded to open the book anyway. She had never found herself ugly, but then again, she had never found herself remarkably pretty either. She was eleven, these things just weren't exacly on her mind. She sat down at a nearby table flipped through the pages nonchalantly, sometimes pausing briefly to stare at the pictures of gaudy women or spells so outrageous that she just had to laugh.

She had almost decided to put the book back when the last chapter title was shown. Hmmm...changing colors? she thought. This could be interesting.

Dalila checked out the book and walked to her dormitory to practice one or two of these charms.
